In the world of cameras, Nikon has just announced its Coolpix P7000, a point and shoot camera geared towards the professional user.  The camera shoots with a 10 megapixel  CCD sensor, and while you may not think this is as good as some of Nikon’s other point and shoots (such as their 13.5 megapixel Coolpix P6000) Nikon assures us that this camera has other pro worthy desirable features.  The Coolpix P7000 touts a fairly hefty 3” viewing display in the back, and shoots video at 720p HD video quality at 24fps.  The lens lends itself to be a 7.1x zoom 28-200mm F2.8-5.6, and offers many options and functions as that of a DSLR camera.  The professional photographer may love these advanced functions which are easily accessible from its manual mode, and all the knob doohickeys that photography buffs really enjoy.
